Hair-On Leather (Cowhide, Hair-On Accessories & Home Décor)

Our hair-on leathers are selected for their natural beauty and distinctive character. With proper care, they will age gracefully and remain a statement piece for years to come.

Routine Care

Gently vacuum your hair-on leather using a soft brush attachment, or lightly shake out dust and debris outdoors. This regular maintenance preserves the natural movement and appearance of the hair.

Solid Residue

If solid particles are present, carefully remove them using the blunt edge of a knife or a spatula. Always work in the direction of the hair, applying light pressure to avoid disturbing the hide.
Finish by wiping the area with a slightly damp (never wet) cloth or sponge using a mild, neutral soap solution.

Spills & Moisture

In the event of a spill, immediately blot—do not rub—the area with a paper towel or absorbent sponge. Once excess moisture is removed, gently clean with a damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Allow the leather to air dry naturally, away from direct heat or sunlight.

  • Avoid excessive water or soaking.

  • Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.

  • Natural variations in hair texture and color are part of the leather’s authentic character.
